Hon. Afuye Awosode Seeks More Support For Prof.Olusola Eleka's Guber Ambition
In his effort to ensure total victory for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Ogotun-Ekiti in the fast approached gubernatorial election in Ekiti State, the vice- chairman of Ekiti South West Local Government Area, Hon. Afuye Oluwasanmi has sought more support for the continuity agenda of Governor Ayodele Fayose and governorship aspiration of Prof. Olusola Eleka.
Hon. Afuye Oluwasanmi, who made the statement on Wednesday, February 29th, 2018 at the PDP women sensitisation meeting held at Ifakin quarter, Ogotun Ekiti. According to him, Prof. Kolapo Olusola Eleka has all it takes to consolidate the attainments of his principal, Gov. Fayose in the last three years if elected, describing him as a man who believes in wellbeing of his people.
While speaking, the ward 10 and 11 women leaders, Mrs. Fapohunda Esther and Mrs. Agbaje Bosede applauded the emergence of Hon. Afuye Awosode as the vice chairman of the local government. They stated that going by the enormous financial help cum contributions of Hon. Afuye Awosode to the progress and victory of PDP in the past, mostly in Ogotun-Ekiti, he deserves the position.
According to them, politician like Hon. Afuye Awosode who has so far showed genuine commitment and passion to the wellbeing of the party and its members more especially the women should not only be embraced as a party leader but also be encouraged and supported to enable him do more.
They said: " Hon. Afuye Awosode is a committed PDP leader who always works for the progress and success of the party. We are going to give him more support, mobilise women and work day in, day out to make sure that PDP wins the forthcoming gubernatorial election".
The PDP State officer who attended the meeting, Mrs. Ogunmola Bose enjoined other PDP leaders in the town to join hands with Hon. Afuye in efforts to ensure victory for the party in the July 14, 2018 gubernatorial election and 2019 general elections in the state.
