Uganda rejects Eskom power plant licence renewal request

South Africa’s power firm Eskom returned two hydropower plants to Uganda’s government on Tuesday after Ugandan authorities declined to renew its licence, Uganda’s Energy Minister, Ruth Nankabirwa, said.
